Golden Aster is a showy native wildflower with yellow flowers. It attracts butterflies. Golden Aster is drought tolerant and grows best in well drained average soil in full sun. Bright yellow flowers bloom late summer. Occurs in dry rocky prairies, sandy idle fields, and roadsides.
