Tall Cinquefoil

Potentilla arguta

Prairie Cinquefoil has stout, erect stems that rise from tufted, basal hairy leaves. Flowers are crowded in one large, terminal cluster or several smaller lateral groups. Each flower's five petals are pale yellow or creamy white surrounding a clump of yellow stamens.
