More About Asimina triloba 'Susquehanna™Grafted':

This tree originated as a seedling from the collection of the Blandy Experimental Farm. It has the largest fruit of the Peterson cultivars, sometimes weighing over a pound. Fruits have a firm texture similar to avocado and a thicker skin than other varieties.

Firm textured fruits of 'Susquehanna' are less fragile than other pawpaw varieties. It has the fewest seeds of any variety (3% by weight). Moderate to good yields. Responds well to pruning.
